Major Incident Command Course Saskatoon Police Service

October 25 8:00 AM - October 29 4:00 PM, 2021

Description

Saskatoon Police Service will be hosting CCII’s Major Incident Commanders Course. This course will provide education and training within the field of Incident Response for Duty Officers/Incident Commanders. Incident command is a specialized form of leadership appropriate for high stress/high pressure environments where critical decision making is conducted with limited time and information constraints. Police agencies recognize that there is an enduring need to provide and maintain ongoing education and training to meet requirements under the Ontario Police Services Act. CCII supplies training for police organizations for four unique incident categories that relate to Incident Response namely: High Level Search for Vulnerable Missing People , Public Disorder, High Risk Events (with tactical response), Public Safety Emergencies/Disasters: responding within the principles of Ontario’s Incident Management System (IMS) or Incident Command System (ICS)
